Open Education Global Conference 2018
The Open Education Consortium and Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), hosts of the Open Education Global 2018 Conference, invite proposals for conference sessions to take place in Delft, The Netherlands, from 24-26 April 2018. The Open Education Consortium is a global network of educational institutions, individuals and organizations that support an approach to education based on openness, collaboration, innovation and collective development and use of open educational materials. TU Delft is one of the leading universities in The Netherlands. Founded in 1842, TU Delft is a forward-thinking institution with a global mindset. TU Delft was an early innovator with open practices, and continues to be a leader in open education, open science and open publishing.
The theme of the Open Education Global 2018 Conference is Transforming Education through Open Approaches. Conference tracks include:

The "annual family reunion of the open education family" offers keynote speakers, concurrent sessions, unconference time, and other social activities to help you learn, grow, connect, and recharge with friends new and old.
Call for Proposals: Open Educational Resources Grants
Open Oregon Educational Resources seeks grant proposals that implement high-impact, culturally relevant/inclusive, collaborative projects in support of open education and reduced textbook costs for students.
Completed application forms are due April 27, 2018. The grant committee will notify applicants by June 1, 2018. Project timelines may vary but all projects must be completed by June 1, 2019.

Designing with OER Fellowship
The Designing with OER (DOER) Fellows Program invites instructional designers to partner with subject matter experts to apply for small grants, supporting the creation of renewable assignments based on the principles of OER-Enabled Pedagogy and designed to be used with specific open educational resources.
The express goal of the DOER Fellows Program is to increase instructional designers’ capacities to design effective and engaging learning experiences with OER. The DOER Fellows Program is funded by The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and administered by the Open Education Group.
